New York glam/sleaze metal act, The Erotics are one of the many bands that I had the pleasure of seeing live and meeting in 2007.

I have known about these Cruefest veterans for quite a while and have listened to them quite a bit over the last couple of years. Most people are surprised when they find out that 30 Seconds Over You is the bands’ fifth release!

To me, 30 Seconds Over You is the band’s best effort yet. My favorite cuts are All-American Catholic Boy, Teenage Drag Queen, Baby Rock Out and Don’t Make Me Make You.

What does the band sound like? Imagine the bastard child of Alice Cooper singing for L.A. Guns. It is a sound that is dirty, sleazy, and most importantly kicks ass! The songs sound even better live!

30 Seconds Over You rocks hard all the way through. The production is top notch, and the band is captured in fine form on every tune!
