Damn, this is really good! I had always heard good thing about The EROTICS
and now I can only say that they're damn good.
They are obviously influenced by The NEW YORK DOLLS but they have totally
made that sound into something of their own adding a bit of 80s glam
(by the way, there's a good punkish and quite personal version of "Public Enemy #1" on this album.)
There's definitely a catchy feel here and songs like "Anxiety 101", "It's True",
"I Wanna Be Your Bastard" or "Teenage Drag Queen" (I luv this song and its title!!)
are real glam punk hits!
One can even feel an HANOI ROCKS influence in a few songs.
This is solid rock'n'roll rooted in early glam punk and mixed with punk rock
and 80s hard rock, so I don't know if you could go on living your life without
this record.
